Dr. Vargas has treated both me and my teenage son as our PCP for several years now. He's very friendly, thorough, and encouraging (but never pushy).

He's not one to simply throw medicines at every symptom or problem, which I see as a good thing.

Although he only sees us few times each year, he always asks me about my wife and son by name. Even if it's only done by a glance at a chart in the hall just before the visit, it's a nice personal touch that I appreciate.

The office staff is also very friendly and helpful. You can now get same-day appointments for sudden issues as well, if you call in the morning.
